Halo of Hope is a 501-C3 non-profit,
humanitarian organization, which has no religious affiliation.
We are trying to make a difference wherever there is
a need with no regard for race, religion, or politics.
So much useful merchandise is thrown away or going
to land fills in this country. Halo of Hope provides
an efficient and reputable system of distribution, using
checks and balances, to ensure that donated items are
handled properly and not stolen or sold. We are working
to make a difference in the health care and economy
of these third world countries. Many people of these third world countries as their
circumstances stand today have little or no hope. Halo
of Hope is doing everything in our power to give back
to these individuals. If we provide a bowl of rice to
fill the empty stomachs of their children today, there
will be a hope for feeding their children tomorrow,
and a hope for maintaining a stable environment for
their children next week. An ounce of hope can produce
enough self-respect to believe that there will be a
better day tomorrow. Our motivating vision (when not
affected by natural disaster) is not to give people
of the third world a fish, but to teach them to fish. We have supported thirteen (13) different orphanages,
three (3) AIDS patient's residences with supplies, along
with many hospitals and schools. Currently we only participate
with organizations and people in third world countries
where we have known and trusted contacts who will make
absolutely certain all items shipped are distributed
properly. There is still an enormous need for our services.
We offer several copies of letters of gratitude received
from orphanages we are supporting. |
